Repair
Fixes one damaged section: a torn seat panel, loose stitching or a worn armrest. The rest of the trim stays as it is.
Roof linings, leather seats, dashboards and complete interior restorations, from our motor trimming workshop in Montague Gardens, Cape Town.
We repair, restore and reupholster vehicle interiors. A sagging roof lining, one torn bolster or the whole cabin, finished to look the way it left the factory, or the way you always wanted it.
Our motor trimmers work on everyday cars, luxury vehicles, classics, bakkies, trucks, buses and boats. Choose a service to see what it covers.
Heat, age and failing foam backing make headliner fabric separate from its board. We strip the deteriorated material and fit new roof lining fabric for a neat, tight finish. Premium and Alcantara-style finishes where suitable.
Torn, worn or faded seats change how a whole car feels. We assess the covering, stitching, foam and frame, then recommend a local repair, a partial recover or a full reupholster.
Worn bolsters, cracked surfaces and failed stitching need specialist care. We repair and reupholster leather on seats, steering wheels, armrests, centre consoles and selected trim.
A cracked dashboard makes a well-kept car look neglected. We inspect its construction, surface damage and the position of airbags and other safety parts before recommending restoration or recovering.
Door panels take daily handling and sun. We repair loose upholstery and reupholster inserts in leather, vinyl or fabric, keeping the original panel structure where the backing allows.
Worn, stained or damaged carpet drags down an interior. We replace a section or fit complete carpets for cars, bakkies, classics and commercial vehicles, working around floor shape, trim and mounting points.
A peeling wheel is the part you touch most. We recover steering wheels with new leather and stitching, and do gear lever covers, handbrake covers and centre console parts to match.
Sun, rain and constant folding wear soft tops down. Each roof is assessed to decide between a local repair and replacing a larger section.
Classics need the right materials and respect for the original design. Keep the original character, or build something personal with different colours, textures and stitch patterns.
Commercial seats have to survive long shifts and stay comfortable. We do drivers' seats, passenger seats, foam replacement and trim repairs for trucks, buses, forklifts and fleet vehicles.
Marine trim has to handle water and UV. Materials are chosen for the job, from boat seats and marine vinyl to covers and canopies.

When a headliner drops, the foam behind the fabric has broken down. More glue or pins don't last. We take the roof board out, strip it back, check the board and recover it in new fabric, so it sits tight again.
Pick a material, colour, pattern and thread. Send the spec with photos of your car and we'll quote on it.
Preview is illustrative. Final materials and colours are matched in the workshop.
Fixes one damaged section: a torn seat panel, loose stitching or a worn armrest. The rest of the trim stays as it is.
The old covering comes off and new leather, vinyl or fabric goes on the same component, over sound or rebuilt foam.
The whole cabin: seat foam, panels, carpets, dashboard and roof lining brought back together as one finished interior.
Not sure which you need? Send photos and we'll tell you honestly.
Many jobs can be priced from photographs. Some need a look in the workshop first. Either way, you know the price before we start.
WhatsApp, call or use the form. Give us your vehicle's make, model and year and describe the problem.
Clear photos of the roof lining, seats, dashboard or whatever is damaged. Say if you want original-style or a different finish.
We review it and tell you whether a workshop inspection is needed before confirming the quote.
Components come out, the structure underneath is prepared, new material is cut and stitched, and everything is refitted.
Every job is inspected for fitment, stitching, alignment and overall finish before the car goes home.
